Abracadabra!

Paper: Baohong Hot Press 140lb 300gsm watercolour paper, 12*9 inch

Pencils: FC Polychromos and Caran d'Ache Luminance, Caran d'Ache Neocolor II

I am in between pieces I think it would be fair to say, so wanted to just have a go at something that was a bit of fun without being too demanding. Ice cream and macaroons seemed the way to go for me!

It was time to try colour pencils on a hot press paper to see how I found that... I also wanted to try out the Neocolor II's and found them to be wonderful, very richly pigmented and easily soluble... A very quick method to use for the background.

At first, i was not a fan of the feel of colour pencil on the hot press, but settled with it once i got used to it a bit. So here you go... A magical dessert for your delectation.
