This incy wincy piece will soon be winging it’s way across the Atlantic as part of the UKCPS Artists Trading Card swap with one of the CPSA chapters. Such a great idea, a lot of fun and I am looking forward to receiving one in return!

The paper I use for these comes in tiny books that are available for a song, mine were from Jackson’s Art and are by Legion. As they are sample books they are inexpensive and it is a great way to try different surfaces without breaking the bank. Ten little pads for around £14 or so, it would have been rude of me to refuse!

Working in miniature definitely presents a different challenge, one that I enjoy now and then as it can give some respite from bigger pieces as well as letting us try things out without committing too much time, energy and pencil pigment. This was part of a larger photo that I cropped down, removing some elements as well to give the final version and one that I hope you enjoy.

Once completed, all that was needed was a suitable title, in French preferably because even the weekly shopping list sounds good in French!

Have a good week everyone and I hope you fit some precious creative time in too.😊
